Company Bios
- Shannon Spillman
Shannon is a principle in the firm of Appraisal Associates of North Georgia. Shannon has experience with over 3,600 hours of complex appraisal assignments. As an associate member of the Appraisal Institute, Shannon is pursuing his MAI designation. In the course of his training, he has completed specialized training in the following subjects with the Appraisal Institute: Apartment Appraisal Concepts, Income Approach to Value, Real Estate Finance, Modeling and Statistics. Appraisal assignments have included: retail developments, office complexes, various A & D projects, health-care facilities, large farming operations, hotel and resort properties, and many other types of commercial properties.
- Curt Bearden
Curt is the founder of Appraisal Associates of North Georgia. After attending Georgia Baptist College, Curt settled with his family in his native north Georgia mountains. Curt has been in the real estate and building industry for over twenty years. He has obtained the highest level of appraisal licensing by the Georgia real estate appraisal board, Certified General. His Appraisal experience includes: subdivision analysis, feasibility studies for various types of investment property, large land tract acquisition, and all types of commercial property and custom residential development.
- Hannah Vick
Hannah has been with Appraisal Associates of North Georgia since 2003. She is a registered appraiser with experience in residential appraisals as well as research work for commercial evaluations. She is currently pursuing a business administration degree with a focus in accounting from Reinhardt College. After graduation, Hannah plans to intensify her work in the commercial appraisal field and concentrate in the area of asset/development valuation.
- Jason Bearden
Jason is a native to the north Georgia area. Jason has been working in the real estate industry for fifteen years. He has a diverse real estate background including: building construction, development, property management, investor and consultant to other investors. Jason has much experience in the field of appraisal with over 300 hours of appraisal education and 12,000 hours of appraisal work. Jason’s niche in the industry is in investment properties, having performed numerous appraisals and consultations for investors who are purchasing investment property in the north GA area.
